Impressive Eclipse Cross Design

The all-new Eclipse Cross is a refreshed take on one of Mitsubishi’s most popular nameplates. The Eclipse was one of Mitsubishi’s sportiest vehicles, with a reputation for enjoyability and great value. This Eclipse Cross for a new generation takes on the namesake of the classic sports car, though the crossover version has improved driving dynamics, a new style, and the latest technologies, among other things. In order to premiere the Eclipse Cross, the brand created a whole new campaign.

New Commercials

There are several new spots that showcase the Eclipse Cross design, according to Mitsubishi, including some ads that feature award-winning artists. In particular, Damien Escobar, an Emmy-award-winning violinist, worked with pianist William Joseph to create online spots that reinterpret rock classics like “I Wanna Rock” by Twisted Sister. This fitting remake fits well with the way the Eclipse Cross rethinks the classic Eclipse sports car.

Not A Typical Crossover

“The juxtaposition of classical instruments playing a contemporary song adds emotion and intrigue to the cinematic footage of the Eclipse Cross,” said Francine Harsini, chief marketing officer for Mitsubishi Motors. “Eclipse Cross is not your typical crossover; it is defiant and clever and offers savvy show-and-tellers a vehicle that’s loaded with style and features at a great price that demands to be seen much like this campaign.”
