The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV face lift looks incredible. If you haven’t yet seen it, before reading about what we like, take a look at it below.

In comparison to the regular United States bound 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander there are no major design changes; however, the PHEV version will have a series of unique characteristics such as bumper extensions, side garnish and other decorative parts painted in the same color as the bodywork. In addition to these special features, the PHEV Outlander will offer optional two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels.
On the interior the plug-in hybrid gets a few more upgrades over the non-PHEV model. The seats have been designed to be more ergonomic and are made with upgraded quality, especially if you opt for the G Premium Package that makes a new brown leather trim standard. The center console, dashboard and door trims have also been made more ornate. Even the steering wheel, which has been basically the same in every car, truck and SUV for years, gets updated to a new four-spoke design. Despite the Japan release date being set as July 9, 2015, the US release date for the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV remains a mystery. We’re expecting California to be one of the first places they’re sent. That means it’s more than likely you’ll be able to get one here at Bakersfield Mitsubishi before too long!
